dc.description.abstract Negative ethnicity is a social evil cutting across all cultures in the world leading to civil wars and general retrogression in development. Theologically, the vice is against the principle of unity of all people in Christ and that is why the Church is called upon to be prophetic in fighting the vice. This paper begins with an introduction laying out the background to the problem of negative ethnicity. It then elucidates how negative ethnicity is a reality in Africa and Kenya in particular. It finally presents findings of the study where Ephesians 2:11-22 is discussed as an appropriate biblical platform for addressing negative ethnicity in Kenya. en_US
